Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information BGFixer.com collects and how it is used.

1. Your images

All image tools (including the background remover, image to vector converter, resizer, converter, compressor, upscaler, EXIF remover, DPI changer, HEIC converter and face censor) process files locally in your browser. Your images are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. Some tools download AI models from third-party content delivery networks the first time you use them; only the model is downloaded, your images are never sent.

2. PDF files

The PDF Compressor is the exception: PDF files you add are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our compression server for processing, and the compressed file is returned to your browser.

3. Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site. These services may collect information such as device type, browser, pages visited and interactions, using cookies or similar technologies.

4. Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

5. Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown.

6. Children

BGFixer is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
